Forged Letterplate – External Beeswax

A traditional Forged Letterplate finished with an External Beeswax – an attractive and practical option for numerous door types.

The external beeswax used on this Forged Letterplate is manufactured from an anti-corrosive beeswax which is salt tested to 480 hours. It has a matt richness and similarly to our standard beeswax the depth of colour ranges from blue to deep red ochre.

Designed to match our other external beeswax front door furniture to create a feature entrance door.

Maximum door thickness: 74mm. Supplied with matching 80mm threaded bolts with dome headed caps.

The Period Letterplate Tidy, in a striking Aged Brass finish, that fits securely to the inside of an entrance door by way of two hinges.

The unlacquered brass achieves a timeless elegance, highly polished on all surface areas but aged to highlight the detail and design. This will tarnish in time as part of the ageing process but can be polished time and time again if a natural sheen is desired.

The Letterplate has been uniquely aged to give the appearance of a timeworn product, with warm mellow tones.
