A stunning pair of real ebony wood door knobs in a bun, or cottage style, authenticated by the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew, with a polished nickel collar and matching decorative, fluted backplates. The wood has always been regarded as one of the most decorative hardwoods, with a rich dark colour, and polishes to a superb lusterous shine.
The backplates are detachable, meaning the knobs are suitable for both mortice and rim locks.
